Terms & Conditions

Please read our Terms & Conditions for Alpaca Walking. Customers will be asked to sign to say that they have read and understood these terms and conditions.

  1. All walks are supervised by a suitably trained and experienced employee, customers are not permitted to take the animals unaccompanied or leave the group with the animal.
  2. Walks include a safety briefing at the start, anyone not adhering to the information provided in this briefing will be asked to leave the walk without a refund.
  3. There will be a maximum of 8 alpacas per walk. Please remember that you may be sharing your walk with other people.

Note: Private walks can be arranged.

  1. All walks must include a minimum of 2 alpacas. If this is not possible please contact us to see if we can accommodate.
  2. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 years +).
  3. Children aged 6 – 10 must share an alpaca with an adult over the age of 18 on a second reign.
  4. Children under the age of 6 may accompany the walk under the supervision of a responsible adult but are unable to lead the alpacas.
  5. Hand washing facilities are provided. Those who accompany children are responsible to ensure that hand washing takes place.
  6. Please wear closed toe sturdy shoes and bring waterproofs if necessary. There will be mud and shoes can get dirty and we will not be held responsible for this or compensating for damages to clothing
  7.  Payment must be paid within 48 hours of booking by bank transfer.
  8. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start will be invited to reschedule.
  9. Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 1 year of the purchase date.
  10. If you are pregnant and wish to walk you will be required to sign a disclaimer.
  11. If we must cancel a walk, we will offer an alternative date suitable to you. We cannot give refunds for circumstances out of our control. i.e. weather or the welfare of an alpaca
  12. We will request an email address mobile phone number from you on booking and do not share this information with third parties. This is just so we can leave messages if there is a cancellation.
  13. A risk assessment has been undertaken for each walk we use and is available upon request.
  14. During the walk we take photos that we sometimes put on our social media and website, please let us know if you do not want your photo taken.
